Client Specific DSP (JM)

Description

A 25-year-old developmentally disabled young man needs direct support staff to provide community-based services and support. One or more shifts are available for full or half days on a part-time basis.

Duties

• Job coaching at various workplaces
• Taking client to and from therapy appointments and community-based activities
• Working with the client on functional skills and community activities such as assistance with speech practice, learning simple job skills, exercise, grocery shopping, eating out, kitchen skills, etc.

Requirements

• Access to reliable transportation and adequate car insurance
• Ability to work together with client to complete organizational tasks
• Ability to carry out individual service goals and communication goals
• Assistance with transportation if needed to doctor's appointments and errands
• Documentation of services

Pay

$20.33/hr

Schedule

Part Time - 5-10 hours weekly
