Client Specific DSP (FDS) (MM)

About the role

Sam is a 29-year-old man diagnosed with autism who lives with his father. Sam is nonverbal but communicates through hand gestures, minimal ASL signs, and head nods. He may gently guide staff by the arm and point to express his wants and needs. Sam and his father are looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide 10 hours of weekly support within their residence. The number of hours can be divided throughout the week based on their flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Sam within his residence
• Work collaboratively with Sam and his father to organize tasks
• Help Sam achieve individual service and communication goals
• Carry out household organization and cleaning tasks
• Document services provided

• Ability to work with Sam to complete organizational tasks
• Capable of carrying out individual service and communication goals
• Knowledge of household organization and cleaning

Pay

$20/hr

Schedule
