Client Settlements Specialist

Responsibilities

• Certify receipts for deposit to Depository Trust & Clearing Corp (DTCC) or foreign depositories/custodians (i.e., Euroclear, Canaccord, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Citicorp)
• Facilitate the timely and accurate processing of all Mutual Fund trades, corrections, cancellations, rebills, and transfers of accounts
• Afford assistance in handling incoming and outgoing physical certificates for deposit, Vault control, re-registration in Wedbush Street name and break down for delivery needs
• Cross-train across all departmental functions and achieve full proficiency in each role and area of responsibility
• Contact brokers and resolve settlement problems
• Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred
• 2+ years of settlement experience required
• Hands-on experience with DTCC settlement functions, Refinitiv BETA and FIS P3 system experience required
• Familiarity with 144 Legend Removal (SEC Non-Registered Securities)
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a constantly changing, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to prioritize competing priorities while working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to swings in workload volume and changes in assignments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with and expert knowledge of the depositories/custodians listed above is a plus
• Experience with SunGard Phase 3 and BETA are a plus

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred

Skills

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $45.00/hr to $55.00/hr.
