Client Settlements Specialist
Responsibilities
- Certify receipts for deposit to Depository Trust & Clearing Corp (DTCC) or foreign depositories/custodians (i.e., Euroclear, Canaccord, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Citicorp)
- Facilitate the timely and accurate processing of all Mutual Fund trades, corrections, cancellation, rebills, and transfers of accounts
- Aid in handling incoming and outgoing physical certificates for deposit, Vault control, re-registration in Wedbush Street name and break down for delivery needs
- Cross-train across all departmental functions and achieve full proficiency in each role and area of responsibility
- Contact brokers and resolve settlement problems
- Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred
- 2+ years of settlement experience required
- Hands-on experience with DTCC settlement functions, Refinitiv BETA and FIS P3 system experience required
- Familiarity with 144 Legend Removal (SEC Non-Registered Securities)
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a constantly changing, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to prioritize competing priorities while working independently and as part of a team
- Quickly learn and adapt to swings in workload volume and changes in assignments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with and expert knowledge of the depositories/custodians listed above is a plus
- Experience with SunGard Phase 3 and BETA are a plus
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred
Skills
- Hands-on experience with DTCC settlement functions, Refinitiv BETA and FIS P3 system experience
- Familiarity with 144 Legend Removal (SEC Non-Registered Securities)
- Experience with SunGard Phase 3 and BETA

Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the colleague's and the firm's performance.
Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
