Client Services Representative - Full Time

About the role

The Client Services Representative provides office support at the front desk within the Hospital, Ambulatory or setting. The Representative ensures the timely and organized scheduling of patient appointments, handles patient insurance information, enters client information into the computer, and provides accurate financial information to clients. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts, and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation. The role may involve exposure to hospital environment hazards, including infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury, and may require periodic travel to other department locations. The Representative reports to the Department Director, Manager, or Nursing Leadership in other departments within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide office support at the front desk (Hospital, Ambulatory or setting)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years office experience required, preferably in a medical setting
• Minimum 1 year insurance experience
• CPT4 and ICD-10 coding experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire (training provided, skill required within 30-60 days)
