About the role
Yalesville, located in Yalesville CT, is an AAHA accredited veterinary clinic. The Client Services Representative acts as a liaison, provides product/services information, and resolves any emerging problems with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk by greeting clients, checking patients in/out, scheduling rechecks and signing visitors and vendors in.
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Maintain knowledge of extension numbers to reach employees throughout the network.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be client focused and have the ability to adapt/respond to different types of people.
- At least 1 year working within a customer service environment required.
- Must be computer literate; basic computer skills with ability to navigate new software.
- Experience with Impromed systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
