About the role

Yalesville, located in Yalesville CT, is an AAHA accredited veterinary clinic. The Client Services Representative acts as a liaison, provides product/services information, and resolves any emerging problems with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the front desk by greeting clients, checking patients in/out, scheduling rechecks and signing visitors and vendors in.
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions.
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
  • Maintain knowledge of extension numbers to reach employees throughout the network.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be client focused and have the ability to adapt/respond to different types of people.
  • At least 1 year working within a customer service environment required.
  • Must be computer literate; basic computer skills with ability to navigate new software.
  • Experience with Impromed systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
