About the role
Trout, Ebersole and Groff, LLP (Trout CPA) seeks a Client Services Lead focused on the dental industry in Lancaster, PA.
Responsibilities
- Sign tax returns and assume responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of filings.
- Communicate directly with dental-industry clients to provide proactive tax planning, compliance guidance, and advisory services.
- Lead client acquisition and business development efforts within the dental industry.
- Conduct internal training sessions and mentor team members to support professional development.
- Develop and refine firm procedures and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Lead the firm’s dental industry group, including strategy, growth initiatives, and team management.
Requirements
- U.S. Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Accounting.
- Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related accounting occupation.
- Experience preparing and signing federal and state tax returns as preparer of record.
- Experience advising dental-industry clients on tax strategies, business structures, and financial considerations pertinent to dental practices.
- Experience with business development and client relationship management within professional service industries, with a proven track record of expanding client portfolios in niche markets such as dental practices.
- Experience developing staff, including mentoring team members, conducting technical training sessions, and establishing standardized procedures to improve efficiency and client service delivery.
