About the role

HomeWell Care Services is a California licensed Home Care Organization seeking a Client Services Coordinator to join their dynamic Client Services team. This full-time non-exempt position is based in San Rafael, CA and works 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates and maintains positive relationships with clients, families and referral partners
  • Triage potential client calls to determine our ability to serve them; schedule home assessments
  • Create and staff caregiving schedules for clients
  • Communicate schedule changes to relevant parties
  • Perform first shift introductions of caregivers to clients
  • Fill-in for caregivers as required
  • Rotate call support evenings and weekends for urgent after-hours client and caregiver needs
  • Participate in the evaluation of caregiving staff
  • Carefully coordinate and manage staff recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Timely and compliantly manage caregiver and client documentation
  • Maintain and order office supplies

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of caregiver responsibilities; Home Care Aide experience preferred; CNA/HHA experience highly preferred
  • High school diploma; some college preferred; Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Experience using MS Office; experience using documentation/scheduling systems preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - verbal and written
  • Able to work under time pressures and manage multiple demands simultaneously
  • Able to analyze data, identify improvement opportunities and take action with little oversight
  • Available reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
  • Exhibit mature, responsible behavior and be caring, punctual and reliable
  • Physically able to perform the duties of this position

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma; some college preferred; Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
