Client Service Specialist - Ankeny or Des Moines, IA

Job Responsibilities

• Provides service to existing Wealth Management clients and assists advisors with appointment preparation.
• Develops new business leads and cases from the existing client base.
• Phones-based sales to help generate leads for Financial Advisors.
• Assists advisors with appointment preparation, including reviewing meeting notes, preparing client agendas, and creating portfolio review and proposal reports.
• Helps advisors maintain customer databases and manage client management software.
• Works towards obtaining licensing to become a Financial Advisor.
• Complies with internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies.
• Represents Lincoln Savings Bank professionally and positively in all duties, including participating in community events.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

Necessary Skills and Attributes

• 1-3 years investment banking experience (preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of products and services relevant to the investment business
• Multi-tasking ability and attention to detail
• Ability to obtain securities licenses and be in good standing with FINRA and the SEC
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
