About the Role
Vista Veterinary Specialists is seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team on a part-time basis. This position provides the first impression of our hospital and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive experience for our clients and their pets.
Schedule
- Part-time position (15-20 hours/week)
- Shifts are scheduled as needed
- Must be available to work nights and weekends
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients in a friendly, helpful, and compassionate manner
- Process appointments, emergencies, and client requests while delivering exceptional customer service
- Prepare, review, and maintain medical records and documentation accurately and completely
- Educate clients about Vista Veterinary Specialists' services, policies, and procedures
- Process patient admissions and discharges, including scheduling follow-up appointments as needed
- Accurately process invoices and client payments
- Update and maintain client and patient records in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements
- Assist with administrative tasks, including scanning, faxing, emailing, and document management
- Support the hospital team by maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment
Qualifications
- Veterinary client service or veterinary medicine experience preferred
- Emergency or specialty veterinary hospital experience preferred
- Experience with EzyVet is highly desirable but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, compassionate demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and exercise sound judgment in high-stress situations
- Professional appearance and commitment to excellent client service
- Willingness and ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and other shifts as needed
