About the Role

Vista Veterinary Specialists is seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team on a part-time basis. This position provides the first impression of our hospital and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive experience for our clients and their pets.

Schedule

  • Part-time position (15-20 hours/week)
  • Shifts are scheduled as needed
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients in a friendly, helpful, and compassionate manner
  • Process appointments, emergencies, and client requests while delivering exceptional customer service
  • Prepare, review, and maintain medical records and documentation accurately and completely
  • Educate clients about Vista Veterinary Specialists' services, policies, and procedures
  • Process patient admissions and discharges, including scheduling follow-up appointments as needed
  • Accurately process invoices and client payments
  • Update and maintain client and patient records in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including scanning, faxing, emailing, and document management
  • Support the hospital team by maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment

Qualifications

  • Veterinary client service or veterinary medicine experience preferred
  • Emergency or specialty veterinary hospital experience preferred
  • Experience with EzyVet is highly desirable but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, compassionate demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and exercise sound judgment in high-stress situations
  • Professional appearance and commitment to excellent client service
  • Willingness and ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and other shifts as needed

Pay
