Client Service Representative

About the Role

We are seeking a personable yet highly professional Client Service Representative to join our team at VCA Animal Hospitals. As the face of VCA, you will set the tone for the practice, building and maintaining each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. This role is central to hospital operations and focuses on delivering exceptional service to clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, answer telephones, and guide clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Place outbound calls for follow-ups and reach out to prospective clients.
• Present and explain fees, including processing payments.
• Recommend, select, and obtain products and services, including prescriptions.
• Answer questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (e.g., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, flea & tick control).
• Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness, including removal of animal waste, ensuring the facility is neat both inside and outside.
