Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients warmly, providing a positive and professional first impression
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address client inquiries
- Manage appointment flow to support efficiency for the medical team
- Accurately enter and update patient and client information in the computer system
- Process payments, invoices, and financial transactions
- Communicate clearly with veterinarians, technicians, and kennel staff to ensure continuity of care
- Provide clients with information regarding services, treatments, and general pet care
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, email communication, and record keeping
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred; veterinary or medical office experience preferred
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn practice management software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable handling sensitive or emotional situations with empathy and professionalism
