Client Service & Operations Specialist
Location: Worthington, OH
Schedule: On-Site
Compensation: $60,000-$90,000 annually, based on experience, plus bonus potential
About the Role
We are seeking a Client Service & Operations Specialist to support financial advisors and deliver an exceptional client experience. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for clients while managing account administration, operations, and service-related activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and committed to building a long-term career within wealth management and financial planning.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing responsive and professional service via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Prepare, process, submit, and monitor account paperwork from initiation through completion.
- Coordinate account maintenance requests, transfers, cashiering activities, and other client service needs.
- Maintain accurate client and financial information within internal systems.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate client meetings.
- Support advisors before, during, and after client meetings, including follow-up on action items.
- Prepare client correspondence and proactively communicate regarding outstanding requests.
- Maintain organized electronic client files and documentation in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
- Assist with client events, educational seminars, marketing initiatives, and referral activities.
- Help improve office workflows, operational processes, and efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and an outstanding client experience.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Assist with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience within wealth management, financial services, or financial advisory environments.
- Strong desire to build a long-term career in wealth management and financial planning.
- Active Series 6 license required.
- Ohio Life & Health License preferred or willingness to obtain after hire.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to provide a high-touch, service-oriented experience to clients.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, accountability, and compassion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Series 7 license.
- Experience supporting financial advisors and high-net-worth clientele.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
