Responsibilities
- New Client Onboarding: Ensures accurate completion of prospect/new client paperwork/setup, follows up on funds transfer from surrendering companies, maintains Salesforce database, researches and follows up on issues with Broker/Dealer, Wealth Enhancement Group Operations, and vendors, records incoming assets to the appropriate blotting tool.
- Client Relationship Management: Dialogues with clients to understand their personal history and current financial needs, prepares account transactions, trades, deposits, withdrawals, RMDs, etc., communicates to understand client requests, determines what needs to be done; communicates to the advisor or handles issue resolution, including death claim processing, may work with client’s tax or legal counsel on client concerns.
- Client Review Prep and Follow-Up: Gathers client data and may prepare the materials for client meetings and reviews, conducts tax research (1099s), completes any follow-up needs for clients.
- Industry/Company Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge and accurately executes against WEG’s Suitability Guidelines, operational processes, and sales model, understands financial terminology and products, has working proficiency with various financial instruments, attends Client Services and company educational events.
- Team and Corporate Support: Assists Advisor Team Operations to streamline processes, completes operational projects to support enhancements and changes, communicates process and sales updates to team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business, finance, economics, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in financial services or related industry preferred.
- 2+ years’ client-facing/customer service experience preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software required.
- Familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
- Experience with Schwab, Fidelity, and/or Raymond James platforms preferred.
- Ability to work with deadlines, be flexible under pressure, and prioritize work.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business, finance, economics, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years’ experience in financial services or related industry preferred, 2+ years’ client-facing/customer service experience preferred.
- Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software required, familiarity with Salesforce preferred, experience with Schwab, Fidelity, and/or Raymond James platforms preferred, ability to work with deadlines, be flexible under pressure, and prioritize work, strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, superior verbal and written communication skills.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $60,000.00 to $70,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Salary and title (i.e. Senior Client Service Associate) to be commensurate with experience.
