About the role

CohnReznick is expanding its sales team with the addition of a Renewables Client Relationship Executive (CRE) role. This role is aimed at a Director-level sales executive who can act as a growth architect for the firm’s largest and most strategic opportunities within the Renewables practice.

Responsibilities

  • Own and pursue a select portfolio of enterprise-scale renewable energy targets, including the firm’s most complex and high-value pursuits
  • Own and execute multi-year business plans tied to defined revenue goals
  • Architect and optimize a high concentration target ecosystem focused on large-scale developers, owners, operators, and investors across the renewables value chain
  • Build, scale, and manage sophisticated Centers of Influence (COIs) (e.g., referral sources) relevant to the renewables ecosystem, including project finance, investment, legal, engineering, and advisory relationships
  • Drive cross-firm collaboration to deliver integrated, multi-service solutions
  • Lead long-cycle, multi-stakeholder pursuits involving complex ownership structures, regulatory considerations, and multi-service delivery models
  • Serve as trusted advisor to C-Suite and board-level target and client contacts
  • Mentor and coach Senior Manager and Manager-level CREs; support succession and growth planning discussions
  • Ensure strong pipeline coverage, forecasting accuracy, and CRM discipline at scale
  • Represent the firm externally at industry events, conferences, and executive forums

Requirements

  • 13+ years of experience in sales, client leadership, or professional services roles
  • Experience working with enterprise-scale clients in the renewable energy industry, including large platforms, portfolios, or multi-asset operators. Exposure to utility-scale, distributed generation, or energy transition-focused organizations is a plus.
  • Proven success leading enterprise-scale pursuits and expanding complex client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-service expansion and long-term value creation
  • Sustained history of achieving or exceeding revenue targets
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence C-Suite and board level executives
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, multi-service teams
  • Advanced commercial, financial, and negotiation acumen
  • Experience mentoring senior sales professionals and developing future leaders
  • Expert level proficiency with CRM systems and forecasting disciplines (Dynamics or Salesforce preferred)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced or industry-specific education preferred

  • CRM platforms (Dynamics or Salesforce)
  • Sales intelligence and research tools (e.g., SalesIntel, Introhive, Bombora, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Power BI dashboards (basic to intermediate usage)
  • Marketing and proposal tools

This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

Pay

The salary range for a Director is $200,000 to $300,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
