About the role
Deloitte is seeking high-performing, entrepreneurial professionals to drive strategic relationships and business development with our most sophisticated Automotive clients. The CRE will drive demand-generation through the depth and breadth of relationships at designated clients, leading to net-new value and growth for Deloitte.
Responsibilities
- Build and own relationships with key executives and decision-makers at all levels
- Execute against relationship strategies by monetizing relationships to drive value and impact
- Identify solutions that meet client needs and support fulfillment of personal and account growth goals
- Drive exploratory conversations with clients that reflect our business' storefront offerings
- Identify and pursue new ("greenfield" and "white space") opportunities, leveraging personal, professional, and firm networks
- Represent "voice of customer" by bringing deep client and industry knowledge throughout sales lifecycle
- Collaborate and team across industries and sectors and with Lead Client Service Partners and others to drive growth
- Be a market sensor-providing proactive feedback on market shifts, competitive insights and "voice of the customer"
- Understand client's buying processes and budget cycle, as well as the client's business and strategic priorities
- Connect Deloitte capabilities and assets to client strategy, challenges and executive priorities
- Contribute client and industry knowledge to development of account strategy and proactively understand relevant case studies and offerings

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of professional experience
- 5 years' minimum experience in the Automotive Industry selling or delivering professional or technical services
- Basic Qualifications: Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 20-60%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: MBA
- Experience: 10+ years' experience as a relationship and/or business development professional serving Automotive clients
- Strong professional services sales management knowledge and experience
- Proven track record in selling and/or delivering consulting, tax and advisory services to Automotive clients
- Demonstrable relationship building experience, which increased account penetration and led to increased revenue opportunities with new and existing clients
- Leverage pre-existing network of clients or contacts in the marketplace
- Working knowledge of competitive and teaming landscape; proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Success in playing a leading role within an account team framework (i.e., working effectively with Lead Client Service Partners, Service Line/Industry leaders, practitioners, and other business development professionals)
- Broad experience across the automotive value chain or automotive financial services domain
