About the Role
Join the American Academy of Ophthalmology as a Client Program Specialist and help support physician-led nonprofit associations that advance ophthalmology and patient care. In this highly collaborative role, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of client programs, partner with volunteer leaders and boards, coordinate meetings and special projects, maintain critical databases, and identify opportunities to improve processes and member experiences. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting nonprofit associations, membership organizations, or professional societies preferred.
- Strong project management, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Experience coordinating meetings, events, or volunteer committees.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database or CRM systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders.
