About the role
A Client Operations Team Member is crucial to the success of the company, with opportunities to grow and advance in your career.
Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains patient files with accuracy and efficiency according to departmental procedures and guidelines within deadlines, with or without supervision.
- Reaches the minimum upload standards of 135 per day within 30 days and maintains that standard each day (Intake role).
- Reviews discrepancies in data received and assigns them to the appropriate department.
- Verifies patient name, address, and primary insurance is correct in the patient file to prevent documentation, billing, or shipping errors.
- Ensures Additional Documentation items received are uploaded, labeled, and moved to the correct designated location.
After 90 - 120 days, responsibilities may expand to include:
- Proficient navigation of current operations software to find and retrieve patient information.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook applications to service customers with high-level client care.
- Gaining knowledge of wound care products provided to patients, including categories, properties, coverage, and monthly allowable.
- Becoming knowledgeable of all types of required documentation indicating medical necessity.
- Evaluating patient files for issues or errors and verifying whether the order is a Service Request or Standard Written Order.
- Knowing how to resource information as it pertains to your experience and Prism's scope of service and geographic areas of operation.
- Effectively processing all verified patient orders to ensure industry-leading delivery time.
- Accurately shipping a minimum daily quota of up to 40 orders.
- Providing routine order status notifications to referring facilities.
- Answering the phone quickly (once trained) in a professional and courteous manner and directing calls to the appropriate parties.
- Delivering solution-based service to all patients and clinicians.
