Client Onboarding Specialist
About the role
In this role, you will be the first true partner new customers have after signing on, guiding them through implementation, product setup, and the early days of adoption so they see value fast and start their relationship with the platform on solid footing. Day to day, you will juggle a portfolio of new accounts, running onboarding calls, configuring workspaces, troubleshooting setup questions, and coordinating with sales and support to keep every customer moving toward a confident go-live. People who thrive here are patient explainers, natural project managers, and genuinely energized by watching a confused new user turn into a confident power user.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new customers during onboarding
- Lead kickoff calls to understand customer goals and define a success plan
- Configure accounts, integrations, and workspace settings to match customer needs
- Deliver product training sessions and walkthroughs for new users and admins
- Track onboarding milestones and proactively flag accounts at risk of delay
- Troubleshoot setup issues and coordinate with support or engineering as needed
- Maintain accurate onboarding records and notes within the CRM and success platform
- Collect customer feedback during onboarding and relay insights to product and support teams
- Hand off fully onboarded accounts to the customer success or account management team
- Contribute to onboarding playbooks, templates, and process improvements
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in onboarding, implementation, customer success, or a related client facing role
- Experience working with SaaS or other software products
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a talent for explaining technical concepts simply
- Comfort managing multiple customer accounts and timelines simultaneously
- Familiarity with CRM and customer success tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Gainsight
- Problem solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot software configuration issues
- Organized, detail oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
- Availability to work core US business hours

Compensation: The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation and benefits details will be shared during the hiring process.
