About the role
A Regional Client Manager on the Employee Benefits team provides exceptional support and customer service to assigned caseloads (Employer Groups of 100 to 499 lives) through daily guidance and education of their benefit products. This role is eligible for fully remote work, with occasional travel required for in-person meetings, team building, or conferences.
Responsibilities
- Manage new case, renewal activity, and amendments
- Identify and promote the sale of additional lines of coverage or plan improvements
- Promote new product offerings and enhanced product features
- Recommend plan changes as appropriate
- Facilitate the enrollment and re-enrollment process, including conducting enrollment meetings or attending benefit fairs as needed
- Highlight the advantages of doing business with The Standard in coordination with the assigned Sales Representative
- Cultivate meaningful, effective relationships with internal and external customers, including Sales Representatives, Brokers, Producers, Employer Groups, Policyholders, and vendors
Requirements
- High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 2+ years of experience working in the group benefits insurance space in client management
- Required professional licensure or certification: Life and Disability insurance license for all states within the office’s assigned territory

Pay
Salary Range: $66,000 - $111,750 base + incentive. Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors, including individual and organizational performance.
