Client Manager II
Job Description
Serves as the primary day-to-day contact for a designated book of clients, managing their insurance needs with minimal oversight. Leads the renewal and remarketing process, coordinating with carriers to secure optimal coverage and pricing. Provides consultative guidance to clients on coverage gaps, policy structures, and strategic insurance decisions. Oversees onboarding of new accounts, including collection and analysis of underwriting data. Troubleshoots complex client issues, working with underwriters and internal teams to resolve problems efficiently. Manages endorsements, claims inquiries, audits, and other service items with high attention to detail. Utilizes AMS360 to maintain comprehensive, accurate client records and document all servicing activities. Mentors or supports more junior account team members as needed. Stays informed on industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes impacting clients.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in insurance account management, preferably in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health lines.
- Proven ability to manage a book of business and build long-term client relationships.
- Strong understanding of carrier underwriting guidelines and coverage forms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in AMS360 or comparable agency management systems.
- Active insurance license(s) in applicable lines (P&C and/or L&H) required.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
