Client Management Analyst - Early Talent 2027

About the Role
As a Client Management Analyst within Swiss Re's Life & Health Reinsurance business, you will develop a broad understanding of client relationship management, reinsurance solutions, business development, and commercial strategy. You will contribute to the growth and success of Swiss Re's U.S. Life & Health portfolio while working alongside experienced client managers and business leaders. This role offers exposure to client strategy, transaction development, pricing, underwriting, financial performance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of client strategies, action plans, and engagement activities across key client relationships.
- Analyze client needs, market developments, and business opportunities to identify solutions that create value for clients and Swiss Re.
- Contribute to client planning, business development, and relationship management initiatives that support growth and long-term partnerships.
- Prepare presentations, reports, meeting materials, and briefings for client discussions and senior stakeholder engagement.
- Partner with pricing, underwriting, claims, transactions, finance, legal, governance, operations, and risk teams to understand the end-to-end reinsurance value chain.
- Contribute to initiatives that strengthen client relationships, enhance commercial effectiveness, and support disciplined growth across the U.S. Market Unit.
- Research industry trends, market developments, and emerging client needs to support strategic decision-making and business priorities.
- Apply data, analytical tools, and emerging technologies to improve insights, support decision-making, and enhance client outcomes.
- Support transaction development and execution by coordinating analyses, materials, and stakeholder inputs.
- Present analyses, recommendations, and business insights to stakeholders across the organization.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects that improve processes, strengthen collaboration, and enhance business performance.
- Support a strong performance and risk culture by adhering to Swiss Re guidelines, governance standards, and best practices.

About the Team
The U.S. Life & Health Client Management team is responsible for building and strengthening strategic client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and connecting client needs with Swiss Re's risk expertise, solutions, and capital strength. You will work closely with client managers, underwriters, pricing professionals, transaction specialists, and business leaders to support client engagement, commercial decision-making, and business development activities across the U.S. market. The team values curiosity, accountability, continuous learning, and strong execution.
Requirements
- Completed or about to complete a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related discipline; relevant master's or doctoral degrees may also be considered.
- Demonstrated academic rigor with a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0.
- No more than three years of professional experience.
- Intellectual curiosity about reinsurance, risk, client strategy, financial performance, and the evolving insurance landscape.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and work with data.
- Self-reflective, open to feedback, and committed to continuous growth.
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams, functions, and stakeholders.
- Clear communication skills, able to translate complex topics into actionable messages for both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools to generate insights from data.
- Familiarity with financial analysis, reporting, data visualization, or business intelligence tools.
- Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies and their application to enhance analysis and decision-making.
- Experience with analytical, reporting, visualization, or CRM tools is a plus.
- Exposure to client relationship management, sales strategy, financial analysis, transaction support, or market-facing activities is beneficial.
Pay
The base salary for this role is $70,000. Candidates with advanced degrees may be eligible for a higher base compensation. This figure reflects the base salary only and does not include short-term incentives or other benefits offered.
