About the Role

The Client Facilities Lead is essential to studio operations, serving as a maintenance leader overseeing all maintenance activities. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold brand standards, prioritize urgent needs, and ensure equipment and studio cleanliness. This role drives success by creating an inviting space for clients and providing excellent hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the General Manager to ensure delivery of all brand standards and initiatives for the studio.
  • Exhibit decision-making and judgment based on safety, prevention, and high-quality client experiences.
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs of the studio, adhering to cleaning and maintenance checklists while upholding brand standards.
  • Prepare studio spaces (lobby and locker rooms) before, after, and between classes by cleaning equipment, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping mirrors, and restocking amenities.
  • Perform deep cleaning, organization, and servicing of common areas, including the lobby, FuelBar, retail shelves, locker rooms, hallways, and storage.
  • Handle laundry services, including collecting, washing, and folding towels.
  • Repair small studio fixes in all facilities spaces.
  • Assist with the repair of Woodway treadmills and other fitness equipment.
  • Communicate specific tasks or projects to the Facilities Team for a given day or shift.
  • Escalate any facilities issues to the management team.
  • Observe and communicate Facilities Team feedback, identifying areas for improvement or additional training.
  • Support facilities training for new and existing team members.
  • Conduct regular maintenance inspections to ensure equipment receives proper preventative maintenance per schedules, best practices, or manufacturer guidelines.
  • Plan and target areas needing immediate attention or repairs, coordinating projects through completion with the General Manager.
  • Develop and maintain preventive service schedules and best practices.
  • Maintain relationships with equipment technicians, contractors, and vendors.

Requirements

  • Strong hospitality skills and alignment with Barry’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Ability to work either full-time or part-time:
    • Full-time: Minimum 30 hours per week, available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and one weekend day (Saturday/Sunday) during studio operating hours.
    • Part-time: Minimum 24 hours per week, with shifts of 3-4 hours depending on state regulations, available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and one weekend day (Saturday/Sunday) during studio operating hours.
  • Experience in or desire to learn about facilities management and maintenance.
  • Exceptional cleaning skills and understanding of clean and sanitary environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a time-sensitive manner with supervisors, peers, subordinates, and clients.
  • Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented mindset.
  • Proven dependability and reliability.
  • Friendly and personable attitude.
  • Prior experience working with hand tools (a plus).
  • Ability to kneel, bend, reach, climb, and stand for long durations.
  • Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies of 30+ pounds.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.

Pay

$20 USD per hour.
