About the role

Pet Care Plus is seeking energetic, outgoing, organized, and relationship-building Customer Service Representatives to join our dynamic team. Every day is filled with interactions with pets and their loving owners, making this a unique and rewarding career.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and their pets with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
  • Check pets in and out for daycare, boarding, grooming, and other resort services.
  • Answer phone calls from current and prospective clients while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Schedule, modify, and confirm daycare reservations.
  • Process daycare packages and customer payments accurately.
  • Aid retail customers and recommend products that benefit their pets.
  • Give engaging facility tours to prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate customer and pet records, including vaccinations and important care information.
  • Make outbound calls for confirmations, vaccination follow-ups, welcome-back calls, and special events.
  • Help keep the lobby welcoming, clean, and inviting.
  • Stock, organize, and merchandise our retail displays.
  • Maintain and clean customer and employee restrooms.
  • Keep coffee stations and customer amenities fully stocked.
  • Assist with light housekeeping throughout the facility.
  • Assist with dog park walks and outdoor activities.
  • Help care for our feline guests.
  • Escort pets safely to and from the lobby.
  • Complete individual playtimes and potty walks as needed.
  • Take fun, approved photos of our furry guests (if you know social media, that is a HUGE PLUS!)
  • Participate in community events and represent Pet Care Plus throughout Chicago.

Qualifications

  • Experience with customer service is a plus.
