Client Executive - Employee Benefits
About the role
The Client Executive provides strategic oversight for mid-to-large, high-revenue clients requiring consultative benefits strategy and advanced lifecycle management. This role partners closely with Producers, supports business development, and mentors operational teams while optimizing client programs and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage or oversee a strategic book of medium-to-large clients with moderate-to-high revenue value, typically self-funded with customized plans requiring consultative engagement and benefit strategies.
- Lead advanced client lifecycle management, including contract negotiation, escalated issue resolution, and program optimization.
- Support prospecting efforts and collaborate with Producers on strategic growth initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to deliver optimal client outcomes.
- Develop budgets and ROI models for benefits programs.
- Coach, mentor, and guide Client Managers and peers.
Requirements
- Active Life & Health License.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Self-insurance and compliance knowledge.
- Technical applications skills: OE guide applications, self-funded plan structures and compliance requirements, budgets + ROI models.
- Advanced understanding of market forces, funding strategies, and regulatory shifts (ability to apply).

Pay
Salary Range: $100,000 USD - $200,000 USD.
