Client Engagement Intern

Location: Columbia, S.C. The Chernoff Newman internship program offers a well-rounded experience that includes a deep dive into agency life. Interns are immersed in client and agency business work and do not perform menial tasks like fetching coffee or stuffing envelopes. The program offers three internships each year in the fall, spring, and summer semesters, aligning with the applicant’s school schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the full client engagement team
• Assist with client and internal meeting prep and minutes
• Prepare client-facing documents and research
• Assist in monitoring and reporting on various accounts and campaigns
• Coordinate and manage tasks as assigned by the client engagement team

Requirements

• A self-starter with the ability to assess tasks and prioritize
• A creative problem solver with acute attention to detail
• A people-person with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to learn and grow professionally at a leading communications firm
• Current enrollment in a related BS or BA program

Pay

$12/hour

Schedule

15–20 hours per week, in-person at the Columbia office.
