About the role
The Client Development Associate (CDA) converts prospects into sales opportunities, manages the initial stages of the sales process, and proactively builds pipeline for the Intapp sales team. This role works closely with both the Marketing and Sales teams to manage sales activity, hunt for new client opportunities, and improve the quality of targeting and lead-generation data in our CRM database.
Responsibilities
- Understand Intapp products, value proposition, ROI analysis, use cases, key questions, and benefits to conduct appropriate sales conversations.
- Apply sales and marketing expertise to advance early-stage opportunities (e.g., secure meetings, attend events, agree to web demos).
- Follow up on all inbound and marketing-generated leads.
- Improve key contact and target identification data in our CRM by scanning industry news sources, conducting desk research, and phone-calling to collect prospect demographics, confirm characteristics, identify key contacts, and highlight compelling events.
- Drive CRM systems effectively to access information, create reports, and maintain accurate data (opportunities, key contacts, target data) for pipeline and accounts.
- Assist in the execution of specific campaigns and events, including identifying suitable targets, securing sign-ups, and providing logistics support.
- Serve as a liaison between field reps and key sales and marketing support functions to ensure timely inputs for advancing sales.
Requirements
- Demonstrated sales or marketing experience (field or inside-sales) in the technology arena, preferably in the legal or accounting/consulting sectors, with a strong record of achievement against goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with C-level buyers.
- Strong team player with results measured by regional achievement against goals.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, thorough, tenacious, and self-starting.
- Good understanding or willingness to learn about our market and customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM updates.
- Experience working with legal, accounting, or consulting firms is a bonus.

Pay
Your actual base salary will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, geographic location, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, variable compensation and equity may also be included.
