About the role

The Client Development Associate (CDA) position is part of the Marketing Team and works closely with the Sales Team to manage sales activity and pipeline. This role involves converting prospects into sales opportunities, managing initial stages of the sales process, and using CRM and marketing automation systems to report on lead velocity and pipeline creation.

Responsibilities

  • Build and advance pipeline by converting inbound and marketing-generated leads into qualified opportunities — securing meetings, demos, and event engagements that move deals forward.
  • Develop a working command of Intapp's products, value propositions, and client use cases so you can hold credible, consultative conversations with senior buyers from day one.
  • Strengthen the quality and depth of CRM data through targeted research, industry monitoring, and direct outreach — keeping contacts, firmographics, and opportunity records accurate and actionable.
  • Run outbound prospecting and support targeted campaigns end to end, from identifying the right contacts to securing sign-ups and participating in execution.
  • Serve as the connective tissue between field sales, marketing, and support functions — coordinating the inputs and information the team needs to close deals faster.

Requirements

  • Proven sales or marketing experience in a technology environment, with a track record of hitting goals — experience in legal, accounting, consulting, or private capital markets is a strong advantage.
  • Clear, confident communicator — you can write and speak with the credibility required to engage C-level buyers at professional firms.
  • Fluency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office, with the discipline to keep data clean, reports current, and pipeline visibility sharp.
  • Hightly organized and self-directed — you manage competing priorities without dropping details and don't wait to be told what needs doing.
  • Genuine curiosity about the markets and clients we serve, or the drive to get up to speed quickly and go deep on what matters to our buyers.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sales or marketing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
