Client Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Aid in the preparation of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and marketing spreadsheets for carriers or marketing managers on large clients;
- Assist in drafting open enrollment communication materials and coordinating open enrollment meetings and health fairs;
- Collect and organize contracts, experience data, 5500 information, and other relevant data;
- Process Benefit Offer Requests (BORs), update internal systems, and prepare invoices;
- Resolve client and employee issues related to bill discrepancies, claims, and other matters;
- Provide administrative support to the service teams for new and existing clients.
Personal and Organizational Development
- Set priorities and manage workflow to meet goals;
- Maintain up-to-date workflow logs and benefit information on agency management systems;
- Communicate effectively, cooperate purposefully, and provide information and guidance as needed;
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and developments;
- Project a professional image in actions and appearance.
Key Competencies
- Knowledge of employee benefits coverages and services;
- Intermediate proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications;

- Experience with agency management systems and HR portals.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma required; some college preferred;
- Two or more years’ experience as a Client Manager or Client Service Representative with a benefits consulting or brokerage firm, or comparable experience with an insurance carrier or TPA;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel).
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
- Texas Life and Health License; preferred, or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire date;
- Valid Driver License.
Physical Demands
The position requires standing, walking, sitting, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands and arms, talking, and hearing. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Physical demands include occasional lifting and carrying of light objects.
Work Environment and Environmental Conditions
