Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Contributes to Jones Day’s efforts to respond to client requirements and inquiries.
- Prepares responses to clients’ auditor inquiries.
- Maintains and updates documentation of client agreements (e.g., outside counsel guidelines; master service agreements).
- Captures and records information related to clients’ third-party vendor assessments and compliance surveys.
- Coordinates responses to clients’ third-party vendor assessments and compliance surveys.
- Develops a comprehensive understanding of Jones Day’s policies and procedures.
- Assists with the implementation of automated workflows and the development of digital libraries using software such as Intapp and iManage.
- Affords assistance with administrative functions, including billing, financial services, and new matter services.
- Collaborates with a variety of attorneys and administrative professionals.
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously.
- Operates independently and responds to changing deadlines and shifting priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience at large law firms working within Conflicts/New Matter Services preferred.
- Well-rounded understanding of legal administration, including matter lifecycle and billing/finance.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite required.
- Experience with Intapp software solutions or another automated workflow is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Document Management Systems (DMS), specifically iManage, preferred.

The starting salary range for this Cleveland position is $70,000 - $80,000.
