Client Care Specialist 2(Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist)

About the role

A Client Care Specialist 2 (CCS‑2) contributes to AHF by presenting a friendly, helpful face to members seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in our Wellness Clinics/Programs. This hybrid role provides courteous, confidential, and professional support within wellness programs, enhancing AHF’s reputation through excellence in patient care, retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability. The CCS‑2 works as part of a close‑knit team, embodying AHF’s core values and mission while delivering comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Collect medical histories and record vitals.
• Manage tests and screenings, addressing health complaints.
• Facilitate patient registration and appointment management.
• Create and maintain electronic charts.
• Document data, including referrals and reports.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood and other specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepare specimens for laboratory processing.

Requirements

• Valid phlebotomy license or Medical Assistant certificate.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and sample collection.
• Ability to prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.

Qualifications

• Proficient Spanish speaker (a plus).

Monday & Sunday – Closed
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 10:00 am – 6:30 pm
Wednesday: 11:30 am – 8:30 pm
Saturday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
