Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between the providers, clients, and firm by fostering continued care.
- Collaborating with Witherite Law Group Client Care Coordinators, Attorney Litigations teams, Litigation Med Wrecks Specialist, and Providers to assist clients with their scheduling needs.
- Scheduling Client treatment while in Litigation.
- Build an immediate trust between Client and Witherite Law Group while empathizing with the client.
- Care and facilitate contact to meet the needs of client.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team required to meet internal and external client needs.
- Effectively communicate with providers and clients through emails, phone, and face to face conversations to address provider and/or client concerns to Witherite Law Group Attorney teams.
- Gather pertinent client information as it relates to the client’s injuries and case.
- Report information to WLG attorney team.
- Verify, update and input client appointment data in the Medical Appointment Tab, Activity Feed and any other applicable FileVine fields.
- Plan, schedule and resolve calendaring conflicts and arrangement of client travel adhering to organizational policies.
- Optimize workflow by collecting client information and monitoring data in Power BI reports to improve client satisfaction and health outcomes.
- Responsible for data collection, tracking outcomes and reporting of health care and legal needs.
- Attend initial Litigation Meetings, Case Reviews, and other applicable meetings to address current client care needs.
- Update appointment information via written, verbal, and electronic communication.
- Create forms, charts, and other correspondence to guide the workflow and address applicable barriers.
Work Experience Requirements
- Entry level Health Care experience such as unit clerk, MAPreferred working experience in physician office or clinic.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma preferred
Physical Requirements
- Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions.
- Stand/Sit – Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.
- Walk – This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, office machinery, etc.
- Use of hands/fingers to handle or feel – constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine/printer.
- Climb stairs – May occasionally ascends/descends the stairs to get to other floors, cafeteria, and parking area.
- Carry Weight/Lift - Occasionally moves supplies weighing up to 10 pounds for various presentation and event needs.
