About the brand
This iconic Australian brand has stayed true to its original vision: sophisticated femininity, a passion for detail, and a love of colour and print. Founded in Sydney in 1991 by sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann, the brand took the bold step of fusing fashion with swimwear early in its evolution, creating a new point of reference in flattering, feminine, and stylish swimwear. While swimwear thrust Zimmermann onto the international stage, its optimistic, feminine, and consistently desirable ready-to-wear and resort collections have propelled it to greater global appeal.
Based in Sydney, Zimmermann presents its ready-to-wear collections each season at Paris Fashion Week. Working with designer and long-time collaborator Don McQualter, the brand maintains stand-alone stores across Australia, the UK & Europe, China, the US, and the Middle East.
