We are seeking a Client Accounts Coordinator to support the financial operations of our healthcare-focused legal practice. This role sits at the intersection of finance, law, and client service.
Responsibilities
- Track and manage client accounts with outstanding settlements, awards, or reimbursements.
- Monitor payment status and follow up with internal stakeholders, teams, or departments.
- Prepare billing summaries, reports, and documentation for internal teams and clients.
- Communicate with Insurance Relations to follow up on delayed or disputed payments.
- Flag and escalate unresolved or complex issues to the Finance Supervisor or legal team.
- Maintain clear, accurate records of communications and account activity.
- Support ad hoc reporting and administrative tasks related to client accounts and finance operations.
Requirements
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Legal Studies preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in client billing, accounts receivable, or insurance claims (experience in a law firm or healthcare setting is a plus).
- Working knowledge of EOBs, settlements, reimbursements, or recovery processes.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency with Excel and Salesforce.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Pay
$50,000–$60,000 / year, commensurate with experience.
