About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties and tasks as assigned by Booth Facilities Services Manager, Manager of Shipping and Receiving, or Booth Facilities leadership staff.
  • Inspect Booth-owned and operated Business Center duplication machines daily to stock supplies and perform basic maintenance.
  • Report technical issues as needed.
  • Support the Copy Center Clerk in processing copy center orders and operating machines like photocopiers, large format printers, laminators, board cutters, and binding machines.
  • Support the Mail Room in operating a postage meter, processing on-line shipping labels, and handling daily pick-up and delivery runs.
  • Assist the Dock Master during lunch breaks or absences.
  • Deliver parcels and equipment by hand or using carts and trucks.
  • Pick-up and deliver incoming and outgoing packages and copy center orders.
  • Operate Booth vehicles and equipment safely, reporting accidents or mechanical issues promptly.
  • Complete assigned work orders within the priority timeframe and report back after completion.
  • Move and rearrange building furniture and signage as required for events, emergencies, or staffing shortages.
  • Pack and unpack office contents for faculty and staff according to current procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Education, Experience, or Certifications: High school diploma or GED required. Business center experience and duplicating, shipping, and receiving experience preferred.
  • Licenses or Certifications: Valid driver’s license required.
  • Technical Knowledge or Skills: Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Frequent strenuous physical activity such as lifting, carrying, crouching, kneeling, driving, reaching, stooping, and balancing.
  • Lift and manipulate objects up to 50 pounds and transport for 50 feet.
  • Push up to 200 pounds.
  • Manipulate and use tools correctly and safely.
  • Climb ladders and crawl distances.
  • Move about the campus in all weather conditions.
  • May perform night and weekend work.
