About the role
Full-time Cleared Security Site Supervisor position requiring a Department of Defense (DOD) clearance. Candidates should be flexible to work Monday through Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the security function on-site, including staffing, scheduling, and on-site training of Allied Universal® personnel.
- Ensure contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel are met.
- Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by AUS.
- Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance.
- Perform operations and related functions such as payroll, review and maintain incident reports, and assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders.
- Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under direct supervision.
- Respond to client requests and make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
- Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding performance of their duties.
- Make disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel.
- Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management.
- Recommend physical security surveys and post orders.
Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position-appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment).
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Must possess one or more of the following:
- Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site.
- Prior military experience.
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
Qualifications
- Prior law enforcement or armed security experience (preferred).
- Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field (preferred).
