Armed Security Site Supervisor - Clearance Required

About the role

The Armed Security Site Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. They will act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers. This role requires exceptional customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer
• Act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers
• Supervise site staff and provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range
• Communicate staffing needs to Operation Manager
• Affirm that officers receive appropriate training and develop them in both technical and professional skills
• Affirm that employee grievances are heard with help from appropriate branch or region HR support employees
• Ensure that employees comply with Allied Universal’s policies and procedures
• Handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
• Utilize scheduling and billing software to produce reports for effective business management
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

Qualifications/Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
• Able to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
• Able to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
