Cleared Security Manager with Security Clearance

General Duties

Aleut is seeking a Collateral Security Manager to support the 55th Training Squadron (55 TRS). This position supports security operations and assists the SCIF Security Manager in managing collateral security requirements.

Specific Duties

• Process and coordinate all incoming and outgoing Visit Authorization Requests (VARs).
• Validate security clearances and access eligibility using the Defense Information Security System (DISS).
• Maintain DISS access and manage Physical Access Control Accounts.
• Maintain records of VARs in accordance with AFI 36-1401 and local physical security/resource protection SOPs.
• Prepare and process outgoing VARs for Government, civilian, and contractor personnel.
• Cover incoming visits with DEL 11 Government security POCs and issue appropriate visitor badges based on clearance level.
• Review documents for proper classification markings and provide guidance on classification requirements.
• Review and assist with updates to 55 TRS security and building SOPs.
• Assist the SCIF Security Manager as required.
• Ensure End-of-Day security checks are completed for Bldg. 7000 (55 TRS areas) and Bldg. 7403A.
• Conduct daily Protected Distribution System (PDS) checks.
• Ensure incoming personnel receive required training on: Escort procedures, Information Security, Derivative classification, Local security procedures.
• Ensure annual refresher training is conducted during Commander's Calls.
• Process AF IMT 2586 forms for AFECC badge issuance.
• Manage DISS clearances and VARs for all collateral-level security requirements.
• Process DD Forms 2583 and 2586 as required.

Required Skills

• Minimum five (5) years of experience reviewing and communicating security responsibilities prior to granting system access.
• Five (5) years of experience with: DISSEPS, Q/e-QIP, VAR submissions.
• Five (5) years of experience processing DD Form 2583 and 2586.
• Five (5) years of experience managing SCIF operations.
• Active or current Top-Secret clearance and SCI eligibility required.

• Strong knowledge of Air Force security policies and AFIs.
• Experience supporting classified environments and secure facilities.
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with Government leadership and security offices.
