As a Cleared Armed Security Officer - DoD Clearance Required in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling through the Claim a Shift platform and the opportunity to explore new roles within the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; assess conditions, notify appropriate personnel, and document actions taken in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and support the controlled movement of personnel, vehicles, and materials throughout the location.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required records related to patrols, incidents, access-control activities, and other security-related observations.

Requirements

• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
