CLEANROOM TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Job Summary

Maintains a sterile environment in the clean room by garbing, cleaning the room, and following clean‑room procedures that align with facility practices and guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Practice efficient use of cleaning techniques, solution preparation, equipment, and tool operation.
• Perform all decontamination cleaning and project assignments within the area of responsibility or as directed by a supervisor, with high consistency, accuracy, and reliability, including executing clean‑room cleaning SOPs.
• Maintain documentation on all activities and conduct frequent (often daily) quality‑control testing to verify the efficiency of work performed.
• Monitor and maintain the stock of clean‑room garments and cleaning materials when applicable.
• Monitor and manage contamination sources within the clean‑room environment, including materials and personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–2 years housekeeping or cleaning service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents.

Work Environment

Exposure to chemicals on a constant basis requiring special clothing and/or safety equipment. Employees work in a temperature‑controlled environment with extended exposure to cold conditions.

Pay

Fixed Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.

Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Schedule

Full‑time schedule. Days may vary, typically 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
