Cleaning Technician

About The Role

As a Cleaning Technician with The Funky Sponge, you'll clean residential homes to our checklist and leave every customer with that just-cleaned feeling. You'll work with a supportive team, see many of the same customers each visit, and take real pride in your work.

What you'll do

• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and bedrooms to our checklist — dusting, floors, surfaces, and the details that matter.
• Deliver friendly, professional service in every home.
• Communicate with the office on scheduling, access, and any issues.
• Keep your supplies and equipment organized and ready.
• Take before/after photos and flag anything that needs attention.

What we're looking for

• Reliable and punctual — customers count on you showing up.
• Detail-oriented and genuinely proud of a job done right.
• Friendly, respectful, and comfortable working in customers' homes.
• Able to handle the physical side — standing, bending, and light lifting.
• Dependable transportation and the ability to pass a background check.
• Cleaning experience is a plus, but a great attitude matters most — we'll train you on our system.
