About the Role
Responsible for the oversight and supervision of custodial technicians assigned to a client location. The supervisor ensures technicians adhere to the scope of work, maintain a clean and safe environment, and perform duties such as removing debris, vacuuming and buffing floors, emptying trash receptacles, and replacing trash can liners.
Responsibilities
- Supervise custodial technicians to ensure adherence to the scope of work.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all occupants.
- Train new employees on cleaning techniques, clock-in/out procedures, and equipment usage.
- Oversee quality work within pre-set time frames.
- Train staff on the correct use of personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, wet floor signs).
- Communicate effectively and resolve challenges or emergencies promptly.
Requirements
- Prior cleaning and supervisory experience required.
- Experience in the commercial cleaning industry is a plus.
- Must speak fluent English and Spanish.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Results-driven with the ability to address challenges and emergencies at a moment’s notice.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
