Cleaning Specialist #61038

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM (17.5 hours per week)
Location: Miami Beach

About the role

We are looking for cleaning specialists who are dedicated, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional quality.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and surfaces using prescribed cleaning methods and procedures
• Mix appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting materials following safety protocols
• Dust, mop, and sweep offices, break areas, restrooms, common areas, or other assigned rooms
• Clean and disinfect areas as per scope of work
• Empty trash receptacles
• Inform supervisor or Area Manager if any supplies are needed
• Report any cleaning equipment that may need repair or replacement to the housekeeping supervisor
• Report any building hazards to the housekeeping supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies
• Organize janitorial storage closet as needed
• Secure all interior offices if applicable
• Shut off all lights if required
• Set alarm if applicable and secure main entry door
• Perform other duties as needed based on scope of work

Requirements

• Maintenance and/or cleaning experience
• Detail-oriented and meticulous
• Ability to perform tasks that involve light lifting, bending, and stooping
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Strong awareness of safety
• Must pass a background check
• Must pass a drug test
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be in good physical condition and able to comfortably perform extended periods of walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 25 pounds or more on a regular basis
• Capable of working on your feet for long periods and performing repetitive physical tasks
