Cleaning Specialist - #62082

What You'll Do

• Clean floors and surfaces using prescribed cleaning methods and procedures
• Mix appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting materials following safety protocols
• Dust, mop and sweep offices, break areas, restrooms, common areas, or other type of rooms depending on the account assigned
• Clean and disinfect areas as per scope of work
• Empty trash receptacles
• Inform supervisor or Area Manager if any supplies are needed
• Inform housekeeping supervisor of any cleaning equipment that may need repair or replacement
• Inform housekeeping supervisor about any building hazard
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies
• Organize janitorial storage closet as needed
• Secure all interior offices if applicable
• Shut off all lights if required
• Set alarm if applicable and secure main entry door
• Perform other duties as needed based on scope of work

What We're Looking For

• Maintenance and/or cleaning experience
• Detail-oriented and meticulous
• Must be able to perform tasks that involve light lifting, bending, and stooping
• Must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Must always maintain a strong awareness of safety
• Must be able to pass a Background Check
• Must be able to pass Drug Test
• Bilingual English & Spanish preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be in good physical condition and able to comfortably perform extended periods of walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting
• Able to lift, carry, and move 25 pounds or more on a regular basis
• Capable of working on your feet for long periods and performing repetitive physical tasks
