Cleaning Room Team Member

About the role

Valmet is seeking a Cleaning Room Team Member to join their team. This position offers opportunities for growth and development within the department, including roles in Shake Out Operation, Cut Off Operation, Snag Grind Operation, and Finish Grind Operation.

Responsibilities

• Remove excess metal from plates in preparation for heat treat or machining processes.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy loads using assistive equipment.
• Operate grinding, cutoff saw, or welding equipment.
• May require forklift operation experience.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical background.
• High level of initiative.
• Desire to learn new tasks and grow career.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with lifting and pushing heavy loads.
• Experience operating grinding, cutoff saw, or welding equipment.
• Forklift operation experience (optional).
