About the Role

As a Cleaning Team Member, you play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe production environment at Beehive Meals. Your work directly supports our production team and helps ensure every meal is prepared in a clean, organized, and compliant environment.

Schedule

Part-time, Monday–Friday 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Pay

$17.00–$19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Clean, sweep, mop, sanitize, and maintain production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, and common areas.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules and complete sanitation checklists accurately.
• Clean equipment, work surfaces, floors, windows, dishes, and other facility areas using approved cleaning procedures and chemicals.
• Assist with deep cleaning of coolers, freezers, kitchen equipment, and production areas.
• Remove trash and maintain a clean, organized facility throughout each shift.
• Monitor and restock supplies such as soap, sanitizer, paper towels, and other cleaning materials.
• Follow Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards, sanitation procedures, and company food safety policies.
• Properly use, label, and store cleaning chemicals.
• Report maintenance needs, sanitation concerns, or safety hazards promptly.
• Work closely with teammates to ensure the facility is clean, organized, and ready for daily production.

Requirements

• Preferred experience in janitorial, custodial, commercial cleaning, food production, warehouse, manufacturing, or food processing environments (preferred but not required).
• Dependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow procedures, cleaning schedules, and food safety standards.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements.
• Reach overhead and work at various heights.
• Wear required PPE, including hairnets, gloves, smocks, and other protective equipment.
• Safely lift, carry, and move items weighing 15–60 pounds.
• Work in both room-temperature and refrigerated production areas.
