About the role
Voda Cleaning & Restoration of SW Connecticut specializes in a wide range of services to keep your home or business clean, fresh, and free from damage. Services include carpet and floor cleaning, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, water or storm damage restoration, mold mitigation, air duct cleaning, and odor removal.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpet and floor cleaning and restoration services.
- Communicate effectively with customers.
- Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
- Perform basic equipment and vehicle maintenance.
- Inspect completed work.
- Complete the technician’s daily log.
- Complete work orders.
- Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
- Maintain inventory of related supplies.
- Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
- Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
- Preferred Location: Danbury, New Milford, Brookfield, New Fairfield, Newtown, Sherman, Brewster, Pawling (Surrounding Areas).
- Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
- Experience: 1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred, and/or some form of specialty cleaning (i.e. Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.).
- Work Hours: Standard 8am to 5pm. Emergency jobs may require weekend and night shifts.

Pay
Compensation levels will reflect the experience level of the technician. Hourly rate increases as experience and certifications are gained in water mitigation, mold, trauma scene, and asbestos certifications are added. Commissions are possible on top of hourly rate.
Schedule
Standard 8am to 5pm. Emergency jobs may require weekend and night shifts.
