Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Adequate math skills
- Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units
- Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity
- 1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred, and/or some form of specialty cleaning (i.e. Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.)
- Highly Desired Certificates from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) - Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services the company offers (Opportunities exist to earn Mold Mitigation; Fire & Water Damage Restoration certifications and experience quickly)
- Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations
- Communicate effectively with customers
- Perform basic equipment maintenance
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance
- Inspect completed work
- Complete the technician’s daily log
- Complete Work Orders
- Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles
- Maintain inventory of related supplies
- Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry
- Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards
