Cleaning and Restoration Technician

Job Summary

Aid in retaining customers by fulfilling the company’s obligations through the timely and effective delivery of restoration services.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Requirement: High school diploma (or GED).
• Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills.
• Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in using computers, email, and portable devices to report and record daily activity.
• Experience: 1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred, and/or some form of specialty cleaning (i.e. Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.).
• Certification: Highly Desired Certificate from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) - Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services.
• Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment and vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work.
• Complete the technician’s daily log.
• Complete Work Orders.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of related supplies.
• Willingness to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
• Willingness to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
