About the role
The Cleaner/Groundskeeper is responsible for plant housekeeping as well as groundskeeping.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory and ensure cleanliness and proper stocking of cleaning supplies, restrooms, and cafeteria areas
- Clean floors, walls, and windows throughout the facility
- Empty trash, cardboard, and recyclables for facility
- Perform general groundskeeping such as grass cutting and snow removal
- Change light bulbs and batteries
- Assist with interoffice deliveries and mail as needed
- Clean equipment and work areas as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Clean assigned areas as required by training
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- General housekeeping knowledge
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Provide own source of transportation (car or truck) for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities
Schedule
Monday‑Friday, 2nd shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm at 5836 Success Drive, Rome, NY 13440
Pay
$17.00 per hour – $20.00 per hour ($35,360 – $41,500 annually)
